Or Vinny Ten Racing for motor work, tune or turbo install. With him tho he will do what he knows works best as opposed to taking orders. He doesn't eff around!

Nik isn't willing cause I called him out on the two fckups that cost one month of time.....

Parts have been sitting coated and could have been assembled last month but the ball was dropped.

Seems his wife just had a kid....heard that TWICE while my car was at SFR.....

Either sell ur business or fk her in the *** instead if ya can't handle the pressure.

Got over 100k in it now...money ain't the issue....... it's getting a competent person off their *** to finish it...all top notch parts have been purchased and are sitting in the passenger seat waiting to be installed....

5th shop in 6 yrs.......third motor

I hear ya. I mention money in the notion of not wasting anymore of it and time. Vinny Ten would be my first choice. He has been around a very long time with a good track record! He won't sugar coat anything, it will be yes or no with him and if he says yes to a rebuild then the only time you will speak to him will be to pickup the car and pay the bill. GL either way

Let us know how it works out, I am in the area and am sick of the mickey mouse club of mechanics. I end up having to redo the work myself, I'm sick of it. They seem to have a good rep, but I haven't been there as of yet.

Gonna be a month til they can get on it......gonna have them build, install and tune engine....I'm going to finish the fab work myself, at my leisure in my garage over the next year. I would prefer someone else do it so I can continue working, but I want it done my way so.......
After that, I'll have have it painted. Then park it in the garage and say good riddance to a money suck for 6 yrs.

Believe me when I say this that I was NOT expecting to see this build still going on when I came back in after... not sure how long- but it's been awhile.

I know your build is off the rails ogie but hope you're doing well otherwise!

Default tks

Tks Eno...got too much in it to not finish it......four shops and they all suck, fck up, don't pay attention etc..

I don't have time to keep moving it so Dynosty will finish when they finish it.

You'd be surprised to see how the trunk area will be finished out!

Default soho

What he couldn't handle was me pointing out his dropped ***** that cost me a month of time ...unable to pay attention to ordering parts....when brought to his attention, he got pissy...cried about new baby just like Tim at SFR did with both his babies.....keep it in your pants or sell the shop....the cryin' is for the babies...

Dynosty will keep it until its done...5.5 hears and waitin'......

So....what happened? Closing in on 2 years since last update.
I concur with what op writes and his sentiment regarding the "reliability" of shops except that unfortunately this is all businesses these days, not just mechanic shops.

He called us and talked about finishing the car but it seemed like such a mess it wasn't worth it. Hopefully he got it sorted out.

"He called us"? You're in Houston and Dynosty is in KY. I'm so confused.

OP was searching for someone to finish his build.

Seems like he had been thru most reputable shops........too bad his Z has some awesomeness going on.

Yep, I get that. My confusion stems from op's last post where he said he's going to Dynosty yet ye bag o'meat said "he called us" and per ye bag o'meat's avatar, he's in TX.

It would be interesting to get the down n' dirty specifics on just what happened at each of these shops. There's a common thread going on here and either all the shops suck, which I highly doubt, or op's got some baggage (expects perfection and a bad attitude) which I can relate to, so no offense there op, should you ever read this.

Meatbag has a shop in Houston that OP must have called at some point trying to get everything finished.

Not sure if OP called meat before or after Dynosty.

make sense? I imagine Ogie was a "High Maintenance " customer....may be frustrating trying to get a shop to fix someone else's mess. But that's just my take on it.
