Video. TT 350Z vs Modded Z06
Here is a video from a run last night with a friend of mine that has a modded Z06 and my TT 350Z.
He has Cartek 2X package, halltech t1,TPIS long tube headers, Corsa X-pipe with stock cats,Dynotech 4.10 differential,StarSpec Stage III clutch, no cats. He puts down 440rwhp, not sure the torque.
I have the Greddy TT, no cats, 2.25" exhaust, fuel system, J&S Safeguard, 19" Volks and STOCK clutch. I was running 8psi last night which puts me at 440hp/430tq at the wheels. I have no other mods done to the car.
The first run was a 50-140 roll. We were pretty much dead even. The second run he sprayed me with a 100 shot, I let off at 100-110 because my clutch started being a *****. Just FYI, I drive around daily with 8-11psi, even have done a few 13psi runs without issues, yet. I'm pretty happy with the results, being that he's a little lighter then me and has gears and that whole pkg mentioned above. Anyway enjoy the video. Don't mind all the comments made by my boy lol.

Damn, this whole board has some sort of thing for wanting to keep up with Z06's and I run a very modded one and keep up and no one has any comments on the race? Damn.
No beans to spill, I don't like to share any info. I'll keep those things to myself

Your Z is fast!
Hey, is that Cartek in Garwood??? I live about a 1/4 mile from them if it's the same place.
The reason I'm asking is I got a ride in a dude's Cartek Z06 after we got our cars hand washed at the same place. No disrespect to the Z, but that Z06 ruined things for me. It was all motor, but faster than anything I've ever been in.
It was funny as hell when this guy would romp on it in third gear on the highway and the tires would let go. The engine roared so loud that the people in the other lanes of traffic all freaked out, even though they couldn't tell just what exactly they just got startled by.
Enjoy your ride!!

Yeah, that is the Cartek up there in Jersey. Those Cartek Z06's are no joke, seriously. I have so much respect for them and I was damn shocked that I hung with him from a roll. Now they have respect for my car and I respect mine a little bit more too. The car I ran in the video traps at 123-123 mph, pretty damn good on motor if you ask me.

I'm really impressed that a TT Z with relatively low boost (compared to the built motor Z's) keeps up with a H/C Z06....VERY IMPRESSIVE.
Build the motor....turn the boost up to 17-18lbs and you should give the Z06 on spray a pretty good run.

I'm impressed that the TT held his own vs the Z06 (without the extra juice).
And Snoop HillBilly-Z06izzle's comments were killing me...
"Mad props..."
"Z06 Vets..."
How does one watch THAT much MTV and make enough money to buy a Z06?
