Damn I just ran into this thread today

The S14 with the VQTT has also given up on the project

As well as the VH in the Blue S14 , I belive he parted the car awhile ago.

I was really hoping to see a finshed project after going thru 16 pages of awesome craftsmanship in the welds and fabs.

I cant belive you've gotten this far and its not going to be finsh.

Altho times are rough these days.

Good luck with the Sale

Unhappy

It's a shame to see this project go stillborn. I was rooting for tecni to succeed with this project. I was really looking forward to it's completion and was curious to see the potential results.

Good luck tecni in your future endeavors.

Thank you. Hopefully the goal of 600rwp (NA) dyno dynamics on pump gas can be reached. The following have been ordered: GM LSX (Iron block), Scat Stroker crank for 447cid, JE pistons, Carrlillo RODS, LS7 Heads bare, The heads will be sent to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, Inc for the following: CNC porting & polishing of cylinder heads for optimal flow,multi-angle valve job & surfacing for 11.5:1 compression ,Ferrea high performance dual valve springs, titanium retainers & valve locks,Lingenfelter C6 ZO6 GT21 camshaft by Competition Cams. The plan is to go with a ported LS7 intake manifold and a custom 100mm LS7 throttle body once the bottom end is done. This is not a pipe dream project. Funds have already been drooped and parts have been ordered . The goal is to get this engine complete before the holidays. Upon completion of the engine the plan is to order the Hinson Lsx swap kit and then the Motec m800. Hopefully I can get this all running with my HKS true dual mufflers with custom piping. I will be away on business for about a month. When I return the technosquare built FI vq35de engine complete with Rc650cc, Six speed transmission will be coming out for anyone interested. The engine is running in my car. I will post updates and any available pictures upon return.

That is a stout block, very strong!!! You will be able to see some serious torque/hp.

It's little heavy. I think it comes in around 225 lbs. (about twice the LS7 block). It's my understanding that the LSX was designed to be heavily modifiable, however, and that you can remove a significant amount of weight with a proper CNC job. Will you be doing that?
