Wanted: Pics of wheels

I am thinking of painting my wheel lips red. I was thinking of like a classic brake rotor red or maybe something a bit lighter like the tail lights. The wheel face is black clear coated 5 split spoke design w/ polished steel rivets, center cap bezel, nuts, and lip. Anyone painted their lips any colors w/ a black-faced rim? Any pics related to this would really help!

PS: I know what time attacks look like and I've considered this, but wanted to do something a bit different.

wow perfect!! Now I just need to find out the color. That looks just like a clear coat finish right? Not anodized.

that would look great, basically it makes the lips the standout part. different but good.

a lot of wheels manufacturers are now making colored lips. not sure if that is the "in" thing, but this year's issue of import tuner (i think) was the all wheel issue, and covered everything coming for 08 and i saw a lot of colored lips, matching lamborghinis, ferraris, chryslers, hummers, etc. also a lot more time attack type wheels too, with the different colors.
