03-06 350z engine cover wont fit a 07 g35 coupe

is it true that a 03-06 350z engine cover wont fit a 07 g35 coupe?
the shop i tried to order the cover from refunded my money because they said the holes wouldnt line up. anyone know this for a fact?

Well most aftermarket engine covers are for the Z and the G engine covers are really ugly imo.

Personally I have a Varis cf Z cover on my G coupe (doesn't have a nissan or Z emblem on it, just a 3.5L mark), but will take it off when the HKS S/C is installed to show off the Cos plenum

some of you guys are ****ing idiots. i wanted to see if a aftermarket z engine cover will fit a g35 coupe. some say it will and some say it wont. i will look at other places for help.

Look elsewhere for cover....!

Rather than give up check with some of our sponsors or give the good guys
at Riverside Infiniti a call. Ask if anyone makes a cover for the updated '07
engine 1-800-919-8130 ask for Tony or Mike. The one thing that comes to
mind when I see the new design engine is the dipstick location, so much better than the earlier models....
