Hey i guess this could go under the tech section, but i just got an 06 G35 4dr for the wife and i have my 06 350z stock springs just laying around. does anyone know if you can put the 350 springs on the G and how much would it lower the G if it would work. i really dont want to do much to the G but since i have the springs sitting in the garage i might as use them if i could

there's a stickied thread on G35driver.com that will tell you exactly how much any type of z spring will lower your car. IIRC, its in the tech section under brakes & suspension.

Stock 350z springs lower the G sedan 1" and the G coupe .5"
I'm using 350z revised springs on my G coupe right now. Same exact ride I had before (05 sport G35 coupe premium w/factory sport suspension)
No camber kit is needed to lower the coupe but I'd get one for the sedan for sure.
you think 1inch would cause for a camber kit? i understand on my Z but i had a honda accord with 1 1/2 inch drop and no camber kit and never had issues

Sounds about right. I sold my stock suspension from my '05 350z to a friend. He installed them on his '04 G35 sedan, gave it a considerable drop.
1" all around. OP - Swap the shocks, too, though since the stock G sedan shocks are not up to the spring rate of revised Z springs. Sport sedan springs - the red ones - are fine for unrevised Z springs, since unrevised are a bit lower rate and sport shocks can cope with them fine.
Definitely hit up the sticky on G35Driver if you're at all unsure.

Yup...any drop over .5" will throw the alignment out of spec w/o the proper camber kit for our Gs/Zs

Yeah the unrevised springs were way too soft and bouncy when I had them on my G coupe sport for a few days.
I got rid of them because one day on the expressway I was driving home and hit this normal dip in the road I pass all the time....
Only this time I bounced out of my chair and hit my head on the ceiling. I knew what I had to do after that point
When I switched the the revised springs the ride went back to how it was before I did the drop in the first place since my car came with the revised sport suspension shocks
Here's some quick pics taken right after the revised springs were installed. They've settled some more since these pics were taken almost a couple months ago
I have Z springs on my G sedan. It really made the fender gap look much better with no camber issues at all. The ride is rougher, but lots more fun.
