Well, I got into an accident and noticed that I have some minor damage to my hood, so I decided if I need to pay for repairs why not just get something cool instead?
I ordered an OEM style carbon fiber hood, and this got me thinking, and I decided that a cf hood on an otherwise stock car would look retarded.
So I decided that I will smoke my headlights and taillights, and also either paint my stock 18's black or get some 18's from an 06 Z and paint them black (here is a link with pics of what I'm talking about http://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-t...-my-coupe.html)
Oh and I also ordered a Magnaglow exhaust which just came in today.
Here is a pic of my car for reference. Do you think it will look good when I am done? I am afraid I might look like a stupid boy-racer.

rice. smoked tails will look good but I would leave the headlights alone. sounds like all of your modding options are catered to low budget, but it's a G. do it right.
rice.
since you ordered the hood already, keep it on the side until you get a set of nice 19' wheels, suspension and at least a front lip.
or
paint the hood and call it a day.

exactly painting stock rims is ricey. If you get wheels and then put the hood on it will not be rice. also a front lip or something would accent it nicely.
All show and no go= Rice
Im about looks before performance though so Im a ricer.
I would forget the exhaust and tinting of headlights and tails and sell your stock rims. With that extra cash you should be able to get a decent set of rims...I got my coilovers, exhaust, and sound system before rims. I have honestly regreted it since I did it. Its taken over a year, Im finally getting aftermarket rims friday....

GET RIMS!
I hear you. Why do quality rims have to be so expensive!!!!!
I could easily pic up a nice looking set of 19's for cheap, but they will weigh 30+ pounds each, and I don't want to make my stock G any slower than it already is
Lets rephrase this real quick. It will look good with wheels with the right offset. You screw up the offset you just screwed your whole car up no matter what the hell you put on it.

If you want to change the wheels, pull them off and have them powdercoated, still the stock look is very clean.
Next I would recommend a carbon front lip such as the seibon vs, then finish it out with a nice carbon trunk, master grade looks sick.
By then I would be looking for some Enkeis on the cheap end or Work for the middle grade or Volk etc for $$ wheels & tires.
