Power from Kanji exhaust and Uprev
So.............we put one of our test mules back on the dyno yesterday, a 2004 G35.
We first dyno'd it with everything stock. It made 214HP and 219tq in 4th gear going from 1700rpm's to 6400rpm's.......peak power was at about 6200rpms for HP. Oddly our G35 made over 200ft/lb of torque from 2000rpm's and on......
Changed exhaust our with the Kanji true dual catback from us. HP went up 9HP to 223HP. We lost about 2 to 3 foot pounds of torque until about 4300rpms and then gained about 4 to 5 foot pounds until redline, but peak torque topped out at 216, so officially a loss of 3, but the usable power range of the torque was increased, so in reality an increase
not bad for $489
Then, we turned the Map on for the Uprev program that we built for the car.
HP went up another 8 to 231HP and torque went to 222, from 216, so up 6.
not bad for $295.
Here is the graph for the exhaust vs Uprev. We were using the OBDII port so that's why the lines......but look at the filter value, just a 7! not bad
