I've thought seriously about switching to the g37 as my "grown up car", we are all getting older after all, but I love my Z!
I'm also curious to know what you think of the switch- pros & cons?
beautiful Z and G by the way, I'm sure you'll love that G
Also I love that even with a month or two between photos, you took them in the same place awesome.

J/K They're nice in person.
And I resent that "grown up car" comment! What's wrong with having a real coupe as an adult?
*so says the guy who just bought a brand new Dodge Grand Caravan*

I liked driving the G when my mom had one.
Compared to my Z
The interior is super quiet, interior is top notch, seats are ok (they don't hug you like the Z), stock stereo sounded pretty good, seating position doesn't feel like a true sports car, having more room was a plus, and I thought it handled very well stock.

I loved my Z but it was starting to show its age, rear speaker was starting to go in and out, rust spot right above the rear wheel (plastic liner must have had a gap) etc.
Loving the G so far, it is more comfortable. I will be putting on my Motordyne exhaust when I get time. As for wheels I was thinking about Volk GT-30 or Vossen CV3, leaning more towards the Volks though.
Finally graduated so I figured I would treat myself to something and still stay with the VQ fam haha.

Cool! I hope you're enjoying your new ride!
I have both of them (07' 350z and 12' G37 coupe).
Two different machines and I can tell that I will never give up my Z, Never.
The Z feels rugh, mean; I like to drive it every day and love every minute when I'm behind the wheel. I think I am biased with the Z, since when I first saw the Z by year 2003 I automatically said "That is my dream car" and when finished engineering school; BAM, bought it.
I did the purchase in Orlando, Fl. in 2007; Move it to San Juan, Puerto Rico by the end of 2009 and borught it back to the states in 2011, lol!!!
For my wife, I got her a BMW X3 with M package and It was the WORST car I've ever owned; EVER. Trade it for a 2008 FX35 sport package and my wife and I loved it; downside was the gas...
When paid off, ofcourse, we went for another car the G37 and we are going to keep it.
It feels so freaking nice. Smooth and tranquil, but when you floor it, you can definetly feel that it is more, much more, aggressive than the Z.
It's a cool, fun, sporty but conservative looking (IMO) car.
Summary, I can trade any car but never my Z :P
FX35
350z and the G37
They survived the Dallas snow, lol
Clips;
350z dyno- stock
FX35 stock exhaust sound
