i think i got the AAM 3" spec dual or somthing havent seen it yet. Bought it but havent picked my car up yet. =) if i get a chance i'll make a sound clip .
Reminds me of the APS exhuast for some reason. Are you guys forgeting that the vid IS inside so it could change in tone and volume. I like it personally, but i think id get rid of the resonators and make the tips STRAIGHT!? if AAM could do that i think ill jump all over it.
I dont think so, a single 3" would be enough for what most TN owners are pushing....and it would bolt-right up instead of having a reverse y-pipe fab'd
Max Flow System
3” Max Flow: $699.99
3” Max Flow Titanium (Titanium Tip): $799.99
Max Flow InnerSilencer: $39.99
Max Flow True Dual System
3” Max Flow True Dual: $1,495 3” Max Flow True Dual for Turbonetics Single Turbo: $1,495
3” Max Flow True Dual Titanium (Titanium Tips): $1,695 3” Max Flow True Dual Titanium for Turbonetics Single Turbo: $1,695
Max Flow InnerSilencers (pair): $79.98
From their pricing, it looks like they are in fact offering a setup with dual cans and a reverse y-pipe already fabricated. Of course its not cheap.
Maybe someone from AAM can comment...
Yes you are corret! We offer a pre-fabricated, reverse Y-Pipe design that bolts up to the turbonetics kit. The reverse Y-pipe then splits into two 3" resonators which lead to twin mufflers with either stainless or titanium tips. We use polished T-304 3" piping for both the Y-pipe and piping to the mufflers.
The advantages of using the dual exhaust over the single is that it's design allows for an exhaust that is more free-flowing, with less restriction through the resonators & mufflers. This exhaust flows so we'll, however, that we'd like to tell everyone with the Turbonetics kit that they will need to modify and/or upgrade their wastegate to avoid boost creep. With a high-flowing single exhaust we've seen the TN kits creep to 10-13psi. With the Max Flow True Dual TN version exhaust we had boost creep to 19 PSI!!!
In addidtion to the flow, another advantage of the True Dual is the beautiful sound it makes.

May not be cheap.... I think the are on par with other exhaust of it's type... I love the slight angled cansters and tips.
NICE!!! Sounds the way I hoped Not raspy but deep.... Can't wait to get mine installed...
What were your dyno numbers???
just ok. were having some boost troubles (think we figured it out though) and were only running 10 psi because of it. were gonna be running 16 psi after we get the problem fixed. there it made around 460whp but we werent interested in the numbers too much just trying to get it to run right. hopefully shell be close 600whp at 16psi in a week or 2.

Yes you did Sam. It was bolted on today, and looks and sounds great!
The exit angle of the AAM muffler is very mild.....pretty much everyone that has seen the exhuast in person thinks it looks great!
Kurt, thank for posting up that video...you beat me to it!
