Default New TurboXS Exhaust: Sound clip inside :)

Hey everyone, I finally put on my TurboXS exhaust on my car the other night. Thought I would post up a sound clip with some pictures of the actual exhaust. The quality on this exhaust is awesome. I am glad I went with TurboXS. Their products treated my old WRX quite well so I was sure they would do the same for my Z. Anyways, here are the goodies...

Here is a video clip for you guys. Right click and save as

Let me know if you guys have any questions

BrokeZ (aka my long time friend LOL),

I notice a good gain. TurboXS was nice enough to throw in some new test pipe in the setup so I have the full exhaust. The exhaust is LOUD. Sounds like a race car. I'm going to throw on some resonated test pipes to see if it will quiet it down a bit. Why dont you give me a call!?!? Sketch... I want t hear your EVO TT! Oh and Wayde was driving LOL.

Everyone,

Thanks for the compliments. I am really happy how the exhaust turned out.

It sounds like some other exhaust i just can't remember the name. I remember MRC telling me it sounds like a 'freakin ferrari'. Good thing you posted it, cause i havn't heard it yet. It takes a good exhaust to make that kind of sound. It sounds nice.

Everyone,

The video clip was with the TurboXS test pipes. I kinda wish I did a video clip before the test pipes just so you guys can hear the difference. Oh well

As for it looking crooked, I have no idea why it looks crooked in that pic. It fits perfect and looks perfect. Must be the angle.

I will try to do a video clip inside the car the next time I have some time. I've put on about 200 miles on the car since I put the exhaust on and I must say, it just keeps getting better. The exhaust has such a rich intoxicating tone that I haven't heard on any other Z yet... kinda close to the Amuse R1. Anyways I'm in a food coma... must sleep....... too much Sushi..

That sound really really good, my kind of noise Congrats!

Would be very intresting to hear a sound clip from inside the car through the gears!

How much is this exhaust? Never heard of it before

/Roger

I'll try to work on that sound clip. Haven't had much time lately. Our shop is moving! Anyways, the exhaust retails for around $1249 but I sell it for much less for a promo deal. I love your V2 Kit.... Let me buy it off of you haha.

if its the rasp, get used to it. I dont remember ANY NA racecar that sounds anything less than raspy. Its just the sound that engines make. Hell, even subarus w/ their flat 4's make this sound once you swap out rally headers, and even some high comp V8's make raspy noises.

Give me heavy cams, a stroker kit and forged internals, equal length headers w/ a 4-1 collector, and my car will sound just like that.

PS: my car sounds like this:
