HKS knock off installed
hey guys,
i know some of you do not agree with the knock off and whatnot, but I thought i would give it a try. My first impressions of this exhaust it looks great..when it came everythign was there and looked to be pretty good quality. I got it installed and it fit good, but after a test drive the exhaust heated up a bit and the rear fitment was a little bit off...but the shop told me this is somewhat normal with new exhausts that are heating up and being cooled and that I could come back next week to have to readjusted after its been broken in a bit....so im not worried about that.
Also, the sound....sound is extremely deep and sounds reallllly good....for me the sound is perfect....does not drone on the highway or while cruising at alll...but when u get on it...sounds amazing. I installed it with the stock cats and inside it isnt loud at all.
I also noticed a very good increase in power up top...it pulls a lot harder.
Overall im extrememly happy and if i can get the rear tips to line up a bit better when i get back to the shop....i cant see why this thing isnt worth its price.
Also, i waited awhile to see a little more long time usage results and everyone else seems to be saying that they are holding up just fine with no problems....i really recommend this exhaust...
I will try to get pics and a video up tomorrow or the next week. Its been storming all day and i think it is supposed to be again tomorrow.

yah u do...
when cruising..its barely audible inside...not so sure about the outside....but when u get on it...it gets increasing loud.....but not crazy loud on the inside....i kno there are some exhausts where it seems that the sound just seems to go through the car and into the cabin...but with this its very isolated to the outside rear of the car.....i cant explain it too well...but i think it sounds absolutely awesome

i got the one from etd motors...the tips came a little bent...ive tried to email him and he hasnt answered yet...to get some new ones...but i just put a towel to it and bent them back a bit with some pliers....but ill see if i can get some new ones. i got it for $600 shipped

, I am planning to pick up another exhaust tomorrow and now you're making me reconsider

u saying that is making me consider that exaust too now, post some pics and video on the car. Someone on the other thread mentioned about searching XO2 on youtube to get the sound clip, but the only one i found was on a suburu... so im waiting for ur clip...

BTW. I wanted this exhaust bad (because of the price) but decided to purchase GREDDY EvO2 dual exhaust and Im glad I did. I will post some video later.

anyone know how to upload video?
i put it on youtube but it says it needs to be processed for a while
i also got one with normal driving inside the car, WOT inside, WOT inside with windows open.

yea u just gotta wait for that... might take upto 15 mins sometimes, plus if it's ur first video going on youtube, it might take a little while to process, like 20-30 mins
