How are you making that claim? Dyno runs, or do you just "feel" it?

I've logged IAT over many months, Heat soak is only an issue when the vehicle is not moving [read: Stop Lights, traffic, etc.] This has been discussed multiple times, IAT drop several degrees almost instantaneously once in motion...

I have an Injen Short Ram with JWT PC. Best Intake/$ = is 06 + Drop in filter...

My response was to Syner, and to provide personal experience/testing to somewhat substantiate l2frankie's comment.

Thanks for the info. With that being said, heat soak from a dig, power from a roll?
These aren't meant to be drag cars, so I'd assume from a dig wouldn't really matter then?

Good Question, I'm inclined to say its not noticeable, I haven't noticed anything discernible. Although in theory it would. 6MT and IRS lack any real consistency to really test IAT differences i feel

only reason i say i felt a difference was due to the fact that after installing it and taking a test drive without looking at the rpms nor hearing the whistle. around 2800 rpm it seems like a felt a difference. once again though it could have been due to dirty filter i dont remember.

For $250 it will probably make noise at minimum.

Default hks hi-power exhaust

Hello, first off. I have a 2004 base 350z manual, I was wondering what a good combo of headers and test pipes/high-flow cats would be if I bought the hks true dual exhaust? Would any brand fit the exhaust? Thanks

Headers are a waste of money - install is a biatch and with some headers you will actually lose horsepower.

Default headers for an 03 z

as of now I have obx long tube there a joke, I cant decide what I want to get that will actually last. I was looking at dc sports stainless shorty's or the stillen stainless shorty's. I know I cant go wrong with the stillen, but the dc is at a better price. should I go with the stillen or will the dc work?

Mainly looking for quality, I know dc has been around for ever but is it like megan racing.

my price limit is around 650ish

shorty headers are a waste of time, you might lose power with them. get ppe's and call it a day

if I was looking for power id just ls swap. im mainly looking for something that will last.
the guy I bouht it from put all cheap exhaust on it and its failing now. honestly if I had oem id just put that back on.

Im just looking for something that will last. not so much on power gains.
