STILLEN is proud to offer the complete, true dual, stainless steel exhaust system for the NISSAN 370Z. Constructed out of polished stainless steel and finished with 4.5" polished 304 stainless tips and polished mufflers this exhaust nets a gain of 18 rear wheel horsepower!
With years of experience on the VQ35 engines STILLEN was able to utilize that knowledge with the larger 3.7 liter and find hidden power in the factory exhaust system.
In years past, magazines have always shown the STILLEN exhaust to be the most powerful exhaust when tested in their comparison shootouts. Constantly remarking on the superior construction, perfect fit and finish and attention to detail. With a sound that offers an aggressive, yet refined note that does not disturb the senses or drone inside the vehicle.
Features:
* Maximum Horsepower - Dyno proven +18hp at the wheels
The STILLEN Z/G Headers are the finest available. With months invested in development work, these headers produce big increases in streetable power and torque on both naturally aspirated and forced induction vehicles.
The equal length design of the headers allows better and more efficient exhaust scavenging which contributes to the dyno tested performance gains.
Examples:
- 2004 350Z produced 11.5 hp at @ 6200 RPM and 18.5-lb.ft @ 3800 RPM at the wheels
- 2008 G37/370Z Coupe produced 14.5hp at @ 7300 RPM and 12.5 lb-ft @ 4200 RPM at the wheels
With STILLEN's 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing Nissan performance parts, you should have complete confidence that every STILLEN product is of the highest quality and has under gone extensive research and development before production.
STILLEN manufactures our high performance headers from varying materials according to application parameters. All of our uncoated headers are stainless steel for long life and corrosion resistance. Our ceramic coated headers are for those who want an additional thermal barrier to lower engine bay temperatures as well as excellent stain and rust resistance. These hand crafted shorty headers do not require the removal of the catalytic converters.
Headers are available in the following materials:
304 Stainless Steel - Maximum oxidation and corrosion resistance, excellent shine
Ceramic Coated - Provides a thermal barrier which reduces radiated heat into the engine bay, excellent stain and rust resistance
Installation should be done by a qualified mechanic with proper tools and a lift. This is not a backyard bolt on. These headers do not remove the cats, but are not 50 state legal, check your area's regulations. Complete the performance upgrade with STILLEN's new race pipes.
Actually we have always had happy customers and good peroformance gains with the gen 3 long tube intakes and their exhaust sounds great and also has always performed well for us and our customrZ
Just my .02 based on our years and years of experience with Stillen and other products.
The 370Z is responding really well to the mods out there. Kudos to Nissan and Stillen for great products.
The 370Z with mild bolt ons is going to be a very very quick car. Man these things keep on satisfying me more and more everyday. Good luck to the owners who plan to modify them.
Here is a link to some great gains with simple bolt -ons. Gen 3 intake from Stillen, Berk HFC, and Stillen Exhaust. You can find Sound clips here http://blog.stillen.com/2009/02/stil...aust-released/
I love the exhaust, great sound no drone, actually quite at first until you break them in then they get a nice aggressive sound. I have the Gen 3 sitting in a box, can't wait to put them on. Overall very nice exhaust with some great gains. Hope that helps
Stillen, first to market, because they do less research, development, and testing.
Yup! That's why there stuff is always off in terms of fit, finish and peformance results. It's sad really as the company has so much potential to develop better and more consistent products!
