Hmm, are you talking about the burble as it goes to 'set fuelling' around the ~1500RPM mark? You'll still get that, slightly softened.

Here's what I mean. Different exhaust and I realize it has HFC's, but some stock exhausts do still exhibit this, I think.

From 1:06 to 1:10 mark where he downshifts and lets off.

With my current set up xyz-resonator and Art pipes I don't get this anymore. The resonator virtually eliminates the backflow. I have to remove the ART pipes for inspection and thinking of just getting a more aggressive exhaust only, but I am looking to see which exhaust only can help with this.

Still not sure what you're talking about, the only thing he does between those time points is blip the throttle as he down-shifts.

Do you have a reason to ask?

It will still fit if you have regular longtubes. Motordyne are working on longtubes right now.

I don't think he was asking about fitment...he was asking whether or not MD users were running PPE LTH's with their TDX setup.

Where did you hear MD was making LTH's? I've heard this rumor for years now...still nothing

FB, Tony's working on finishing off the GTR stuff, then making the 370 LTH's finishing with the 350.
They'll be similar to the XYZ pipe in modular options

Has anyone had problems fitting the exhaust tips on? I removed all 3 screws to fit it on and I cant seem to push the tips in all the way. There is still about 2-3 inches away from being flush with the bumper. I was thinking about taking a rubber mallet to them but I'm afraid Ill dent them or wont ever be able to take them off if I do get them on.

No problems here. Will they go on if the screws are out?

I was asking pwice to try that without screws, i wasn't under the magical illusion that if you remove the retaining screws, it somehow wouldn't fit....

Random question. Can the xyz pipe be installed backwards? Meaning can I rotate it 180 degrees back and forth and install it and it won't make a difference. I'm having clearance issues with my rear sway bar and the rear brace that the muffler sits on. Anyone have this issue or a solution? I have an 07 HR

I was thinking that, I'll have to get up under there and try it out. Thanks for the heads up!

Default greddy to motordyne

Ive got a 07 350z NA with Berk high flow cats and Greddy RS 3" catback exhaust. First off I love the loudness when I'm getting on it, outside I could care less but cruising sound not so much. Thinkin its the dreaded drone. I have sound proofed but still annoys me lol. Any one had this system and switched over to Motordyne shockwave tdx2 with art pipes and can advise what happened with internal levels/drone? Thanks

Soooo, I know this thread is pretty old, but it's the only one I could find with the optional midpipe HFC's. Do you remember or know who/where I can contact about having this built? I've tried contacting motordyne a few times, but no reply. Thanks!

You would need to call Motordyne directly to ask if they can still get them made, they were technically custom, but still official Motordyne.
