Hey I have a 06 350z that does not have the high rev engine. I recently purchased the nismo s tune catback I drive my car in the snow and it takes a toll to the underneath of the vehicle, the exhaust. I now have a buzzing noise when I rev my z sounds like someone shaking a can with little metal ***** in them. I'm guessing it is coming from the y pipe.

I was wondering what would be a good y pipe would be to add on to the nismo exhaust and I am also looking to get kinetix hfc as well please let me know what you think thank you!

yes it should it that is causing it (i had them and they were nice). if you want to go the cheap route, find an HR y pipe

dumb question but what is a HR y pipe a high rev y pipe?

it is the part that connects the cats to the midpipe of the muffler. here is the de y pipe and hr y pipe side by side... they made huge improvements and most people sell them cheap, i sold mine for $80

from looks of it they are much different, will their sounds be different ?
