Default exhaust setup set up question (stillen)

im looking for a nice sick deep sound, or something nice not ricey

ok this is what i have and i would like to change it any advise would be good.
my exhaust as of now is stillen, headers hi flow cats x pipe and the dual exhaust i uploaded a picture so you guys can see. well problem is im getting this nasty grasp in low rpm in gear changes f***** annoying. i took to this shop and he told to install two ultra quiet vivrant resonators, rasp is still present but not as much unless i drive it hard

went back guy told me to do cat back something like this
http://aamcompetition.com/images/F22830537.jpg
but in my case from the x pipe back

my question is this good set up ? is gona cost me 500 not so bad but i want something nice. should i remove the new resonators or keep them, them suckers were 300, he said to keep them to avoid any rasp

or go with a single pipe , existing to a dual one like this
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/i...ismo350cat.jpg

im looking for max power as well but not something that would blow my ears of i drive the car everyday in the highway lol.. sorry im new to the 350z world. thank you

Cancel your appointment.

Do your own research without relying solely on a shop's recommendation. I'm guessing he is getting some type of perk from AAM, as there are much better options out there.

$500 range won't get you much in terms of performance. It'll get you louder, but not much else. There is a reason some full systems easily run over the $3k mark in Z's.

Man i have done my own research and i have seen crazy set ups but i just cant afford it college student, living paycheck by paycheck. Since im in the 500-700 range there nothing much i can do i understand that. Did you see the links i have posted, i just wanna change the sound to a sexy one or something ear catching lol , i believe the way you have your car shows who you are, and right now it feels like in a honda,

as of now i have a lot of restrictions on air flow as you can see so i believe that changing the set up may free up a few horses i know it wont be nothing crazy. but out of those two links i have posted what would you recommend ? , also dont for get i have headers high flow cats and x pipe.

If you are limited, I would say to go with the AAM setup.

Regardless of choice, the VQ is notorious for minimal gains without a tune (and only a slight amount with).

and yes i have read that lots of places, will be tuning in HP logic Miami in the near future.
