SSV Gasket question
Hey guys,
I did some searching and asked around about replacing the crappy cork gasket that comes with the Kinetix SSV manifold.
From what I understand, Kinetix doesn't machine the flange after welding the part together, which leaves the bottom flange warped. (As was explained to me on facebook).
I'm sick and tired of how flimsy the cork is, its a pita everytime I need to remove the intake manifold to work on the car and then try and ensure there's no misfiring after reinstal.
So, short of having the flange machined, I was thinking about replacing the cork with an Aramid gasket from Motordyne, what do you guys think?
