Hey guys sorry if this is in the wrong section or if im hacking someones thread.
I recently received a nismo s tune mid pipe for free and that got me thinking of doing a custom single exit. I am planning on using either a Vibrant or Greddy rs muffler for the rear. Any thoughts of how you think this will sound or maybe know of anyone who has done this. The Mid Pipe has a resonator in it already so i would just have a shop cut and weld a muffler in.
I understand that there will be a little drone but i figure less drone than i.e. the Agency Power exhaust due to the resonator.any help would be appreciated.

worse things have been done to a 350z exhaust...keep your expectations in the basement and see what happens...worst case scenario you're out a few hundred dollars. I went with a Vibrant on my 4" Al and I dont regret it.

Any muffler welded in the end will work, just gotta pick your poison. If you want it as noisy as a agency power single no muffler would be needed.

ok, thanks that's kind of what i figured.I don't want it as loud as the Agency Power, maybe in between an AAM single and the Agency. So i think i will just go with the Greddy revolution muffler and hope it sounds good. Ill upload a video when its done. The system will be 3 inch from the stock cats. Nismo y pipe to nismo mid pipe to greddy revolution.

Innovate or make cheaper, that is the joy of capitalism and markets. Keep the price high, volume low, or vice versa. But to compare your hard work to ISR is a travesty I would agree.

MicVelo, thanks. I really appreciate your... appreciation lol
I use TOOLIOM Lift TIG Torch mentioned here. When choosing a torch, be sure to pay attention to the materials from which the torch is made, it must be resistant to high temperatures, be lightweight and have an ergonomic handle. Also consider the length of the hose - torches with a long hose allow you to work at a considerable distance from the welding machine, but a long hose increases the weight of the torch.
