What exhaust (brand) are you running and why?

6 inch cawk is my fave!

nicer than the borla because it has flex pipes and doesn't give a million different adjustment options.
No flex pipes so the h pipe got stressed and cracked... Got it welded last year.

I'm aware you're looking for something on the quite side but figured I'd post this anyways!
My exhaust system consists of,
Nismo R tune headers,Motordyne ART pipes, ISR Y pipe and an RS-R GT2 y pipe back. It's a nice sounding exhaust and an efficent design. It's also quite light compared to oem and the Replica apexi N1 I had. If you want your Z to sound mean this would be your exhaust choice. W/silencers in, it's your typical aftermarket exhaust system until you get rev happy. Then it sounds glorious haha. Without silencers it's loud as F#CK.I've found that if you put a silencer in just the passenger side cannister it almost eliminates highway drone. But it does look awkward having only one in lol. There is the dreaded rasp around 2800k to 3600k give or take,But I attribute that to the headers and ART's.If I had to do it again.I probably wouldn't have done the headers simply because of cost to power gain ratio.
For a nice quite yet aggressive exhaust note I would look into the Tanabe medallion touring exhaust.I almost traded a local my RS-r for his due to the fact that it was clean looking, the tips sat almost flush with the bumper and it had a nice clean rumble through the rpm range. But I decided against it due to the fact that I love the way my exhaust screams when I want it to....PS stay away from walker products the fitment is garbage as well as the quality

Invidia Gemini exhaust mated with TopSpeed resonated test pipes. Sounds amazing and the butt dyno approves. I've also got the JWT intake and the Crawford plenum.

Crawford HFCs, Motordyne XYZ w/ resonator and Motordyne TDX version 1.
WHY? Well I bought the car with the Crawfords on already w/stock exhaust, and I bought the MD y pipe and exhaust for a steal locally. I have OBX Longtubes but haven't installed them yet.

I'd be worried about the OBX headers cracking. Especially after all that work to get them installed

This set I have is revised with new welds and merge collector from my friend (Previous owner) who had the headers on his Z which was also Vortech Supercharged and meth injected which reduced egts. They are also heatwrapped. I think I will be OK with them as I plan to use meth injection soon.

Every Time I hear some on recommend a Tomei I cringe.
100% Cop bait loud, Good luck talking to anyone in the car or listening to music.
Is it light as ****? Yes.
Does it make power, arguably the most? Yes.
Does it belong on the street? No.
Rasps like whoa due to super thin titanium and just Holy **** loud.

I've read the same about the Tomei.
DO NOT WANT for my daily driver. It may not even be allowed on some tracks due to noise restrictions.

If you guys were to build a custom one from test pipes to the tips and these were your priorities:
1) More power (not only from decats but also not losing any power or torque as some systems do!)
2) Less weight
3) Bassy sound but not crazy loud like the Tomei with decats!
... what would be your specs? e.g. diameter of each part, resonators, mufflers, single or dual?

Once I get long tubes with my Tomie you guys will hate me
It's not even that bad. Car makes enough power I shift at 2500 and the resonated Y pipe keeps and drone away
