installing resonator with Motordyne TDX2
I currently have Motordyne TDX2 exhaust with Berk HFC. The setup is quite loud and has a lot of drone. I was wondering would I just need to buy the Motordyne XYZ Resonator and attach it to the XYZ pipe to eliminate the drone a bit?

the xyz pipe is the y pipe with an attachment.
you already have the xyz pipe and your attachment is the mid muffler.
your only option is to sell it to me or to add bottle type resonators somewhere in the piping on each side or go back to oem cats which will make a HUGE difference. I went back to oem cats with my tomei single and its night and day.

What if I swap out the HFCs for ART pipes? I heard they are a good combo with the exhaust.
And no I'm not selling you my exhaust

it will be louder. but may drone less. my 350z with tomei and berk hfc droned ALOT more than my g37 with art pipes and motordyne tdx. he'll the G drones less than tomei with oem cats. I think in part due to all the sound deadener the G has and the piping length on the G is longer vs the Z it's right there

I've heard ART pipes are quieter then most HFCs from what I searched on here.
My Province doesn't have any more emissions rules so off with the cats.
Thanks for your responses nizmo_0385
To not get a CEL using ART pipes I would just buy O2 extensions or are they not needed at all with ART pipes? I can't stand seeing a CEL while driving I already have 1 for stupid lean code. Need to get tuned from all my bolt ons.

I've put a lot of sound deadening in my Z to eliminate the noise and keep my stereo noise in my car. That has helped a lot. Before I had it I remember it use to vibrate the whole cabin.

if you get tuned you can disable the o2 codes all together.
