History of your user name?

What's the story behind everybody's user name? I think we had a thread about this earlier, but I can't seem to find it?

I'll start off. Mine kind of comes from my last name (Bhatia). Back in college, there was this one kid that NOBODY liked, for whatever reason. Everyone made fun of him and played pranks on him, and of course, I also participated. Well, I felt bad for him so I tried to talk to him normally. Eventually like in the middle of our conversation, he looks at my name tag on my door and say "So...uhh...your name is Amit. And, uhh, that's your last name right under it? So your, uhh, Bhasha, huh?" I'm like WTF are you talking about, that's not how you say it? He responds, "well, your last three letters end in '-tia" which is like 'inertia' so isn't that how you say your last name--Bhasha?"

Well, even though I didn't really like this kid, I thought it was hilarious and told all my friends. So now that's my nickname "Bhash" or "Bhasha". What about you guys?

PS: Techincally my last name is Bhatia (Baa-Tee-Aah)

my name is gay...I'm not british...nor do I want to be british, I think zed is the dumbest possible way to pronounce the letter Z. I don't care if they were speaking english first..now there is america......speak american!!!

I used to play Counterstrike back in the day, and when i joined my clan, i needed a creative name.. I chose Plumpzz When You Cook'Em.... and Plumpzz has stuck. It also helps that im pretty plumpy, plus i have that plumpzz kinda personality lol.

Amit Bhatia, you silly indian haha.

People used to call me Jabz, cause my name is Rajan Jabbal. I liked that name too.

Mine used to be S TWO K when I joined this board way back. I drove an s2000 but liked the Z too.

Now that I have a Z, I changed my user name a few months ago.
