Anybody else do this?

Ok....my wife says I have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) because whenever I buy gas I always round off the dollar amount before I stop the pump. You know.......20$, 23$, 38$ 55$.....etc. Never any cents on the total.

Is this weird or unique? I don't know why I do it and to be honest I'm not even aware I do it most of the time. It just happens!

We all do. Its that whole thing where you keep turning the lights on and off before you leave the house that makes you OCD.

Fresh from wikipedia: Bolding and underlining added by me:

"To be diagnosed with OCD, a person must have either obsessions or compulsions alone, or obsessions and compulsions, according to the DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria. The Quick Reference to the diagnostic criteria from DSM-IV-TR (2000) states six characteristics of obsessions and compulsions:[2]

Obsessions

Recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses, or images that are experienced as intrusive and inappropriate and that cause marked anxiety or distress.
The thoughts, impulses, or images are not simply excessive worries about real-life problems.
The person attempts to ignore or suppress such thoughts, impulses, or images, or to neutralize them with some other thought or action.
The person recognizes that the obsessional thoughts, impulses, or images are a product of his or her own mind, and are not based in reality.
Compulsions

Repetitive behaviors or mental acts that the person feels driven to perform in response to an obsession, or according to rules that must be applied rigidly.
The behaviors or mental acts are aimed at preventing or reducing distress or preventing some dreaded event or situation; however, these behaviors or mental acts are not actually connected to the issue, or they are excessive.
In addition to these criteria, at some point during the course of the disorder, the individual must realize that his/her obsessions or compulsions are unreasonable or excessive. Moreover, the obsessions or compulsions must be time-consuming (taking up more than one hour per day), cause distress, or cause impairment in social, occupational, or school functioning.[2] OCD often causes feelings similar to those of depression."

If you are not stressing out over your behavior then it might be the wife, with all due respect, that has the OCD...

I never top off my tank, because the gas that come out of the nozzle doesn't react as quick as the pumps dollar amount. That last $1.00 worth of gas you think you put in was more like 50 cents.

Not that I care that much about 50 cents its the principal of the thing.

That's because you're old and remember when two bits was worth something.

I'm really not concerned with the extra little bits of gas... I just don't want change.
