I just had the same situation happen so I ordered a pair of bulbs off ebay. I still haven't got them yet. They were used and cost me about $60, but if you want new your looking at somewhere around $150 per bulb. you can check out performancenissanparts.com which is $165 per bulb for brand new OEM's. you might also check out xenonfactory.com and replacement.carjunky.com which might have them around $130. you may want to check to see if its your ballasts by switching the bulb that works to the side that doesn't just to be sure. if you do end up getting bulbs to consensus here was to make sure they are D2R's and either phillips or osram, anything else could be crap. for now I've just been driving with my high lights on to avoid getting a ticket, I know its kind of a crappy thing to do to other motorists but I can't afford tickets with this car. if the bulbs I get work fine I'd be willing to sell you my 1 working bulb cheap.

F*&$IN HID's. They look great, but daaaaauuuum, they's expensive. I jumped a curb and wasted a yield sign a couple of years ago, and ripped a chunk out of my Z. The headlight and HID hardware cost $800. OUCH!!!!!!!

It's $800 if you buy it from Nissan. Check out eBay because sellers offer entire assemblies for $350 +/- $100. Some sell components and you can purchase that to replace what you need for a fraction of an entire assembly.

i have a same problem. I even switched the bulg and the ballast and it works fine on the passenger side. Try switching the bulbs with passenger side, if the bulb is good, i think it may have something to do with the headlight fuse.
