Default Problem with dealer

I started having third gear grind for the past two weeks so i took my car to the Rt1 AutoMall in NJ for service. They took a look at my car and said that there is a third gear grind but that they must first replace my clutch and tires before they can show the Nissan Rep the grinding problem!!! I have had it up with Nissan service and their continuous effort in trying to recieve money and not fix a problem. What should i do to fix the third gear grind.....

I feel you man. I have the same 3rd gear grinding problem as you and I'm afraid of the Nissan service (they treat me and the Z like I own a KIA or something). If they are giving you a hard time, find another "friendly" dealer(if any) to go to in Ny. BTW, if you do find a "friendly" Nissan dealer, be sure to recommend them to me.

third gear grind - clutch - tires

Maybe I'm slowwww, but if the grinding is in only one gear....I don't see the connection. Sounds like a scam to get clutch and tire work from you. Mo money.
