Default P0463 - Fuel Level Sesnor A Circuit High Input

Howdy everyone,

Got a quick tech question. I recently had my Service Engine Soon light come on and I went to the dealership and they wanted to charge me 90 bucks to just plug the damn OBDII computer in. So I saved myself money in the long run and bought one myself..

Anyways to the more technical part, I received only one code, P0463 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit High Input... Is there anything I can do to correct this myself? is it something that needs to be fixed by a mechanic ASAP? Any help would be appreciated.. I searched and some had my code along with a handful of others but no one gave them the answer I needed.. Thanks everyone!!

Default Problem Resolved

I resolved the problem, for future reference to anyone that has a similar problem... I heard that a bad "fill-up" at the gas station can trigger the sensors to misread, ie turning the check engine light on... My fuel gauge reads just fine so I went ahead and cleared the code.. It hasnt came back on since than.. Thanks for looking in to my question guys, hope this helps anyone with similar problems in the future!
