camshaft sensor
i started to drive my car again and check engine came back on so cleaning it didnt fix it so i took it to autozone and they check its bank 1 camshaft sensor which is the camshaft sensor on the passenger side so i bought a new one before i installed it i disconnected the battery and then put the new sensor which took me 5 min really it was very easy once you know all i use a small 10mm wrench and thats it cause once the screw is lose i use my hand to unscrew it and thats it so once i install the new one i connected the battery and did the engine reset ecu before i turn on the engine and it worked all alarms are off so if it ever apears i let you know

350z stalling out could it be Cam Sensors?????
My car has recently been wanting to stall out more when I brake and clutch. When I first got the car it would rarely happen.(years ago) I replaced the MAF sensor just last year and the problem never came back into recently when I got my car tuned. My car volt reader will drop to 12 sometimes when I am braking and clutching coming to a full stop. Sometimes my car will want to stall out even in neutral sitting at a light. Also when the volt meter drops to about 12 sometimes the belt will start to squeal. I was wondering if anyone could help me out and might know the answer. (2003 350z)

If the problem started after the tune, take it back to the tuner (assuming it wasn't you) and have them fix it.
The squealing belt could be anything from a bad belt to a bad belt tensioner, idler pulley or bad bearings on a belt-driven component. You'll have to narrow it down with a automotive probe stethoscope or a long screwdriver with a cut-out gallon milk jug taped to the handle end to act as an amplifier. You'll likely find the source of the squeal in about 2 minutes. Just be careful not to get the probe to catch on a moving part. Since you're having voltage issues, be sure to focus on the alternator when the squeal comes up or when you're getting severe voltage drops.

what! nissan charged me 90 bucks for one.
which bank is broken? It should say it in the code.
bank 1 is on the battery side, bank 2 is on the brake ms side (usdm models) Bank1 takes 10 minutes to replace. If youve got a 3/8 ratchet and a 10mm deep socket youre set. Bank 2 takes about 30-45 mins. You have to remove the intake and throttle body. Then all youll need are a 10mm deep and your 3/8" drive. Do not let the dealer jerk you around with their obscene labor cost. Be sure to disconnect the battery before working. Once done, do the technosquare ecu reset.
