I noticed recently that my clutch feels a little sticky when I push it down, and it squeaks just ever so slightly. Is it just that the pedal and such is a little worn and used, or is this a problem? And can I make it go away? I was thinking about trying to put some grease or something down in that area, but I wasn't sure if this is safe. Anyone have this problem, and have any suggestions? Muchas gracias!
Same thing is happening to me. A couple of my local buddies told me that it sounds like my throw out bearing or pressure plate. I asked a reputable tech at a local dealership, and he also said it sounds like the pressure plate is going and possibly the throw out bearing.
i love the 350z and everything but this is the biggest con about the car in my opinion but i love everything else of the car from the sounds to the engine
this car has the noisiest drivetrain ever hahaha its unbelievable. I can't wait to have money for a new clutch so I can toss the stock one. Is there any type of recall on the 2006 drivetrain or anything? Or does anyone know of a website you can check to find out? Thanks
My clutch squeaked every time I pressed it down and i couldn't stand it anymore. I just bought some WD-40 and sprayed the bearings or w/e seemed to move when you press in the clutch. NO MORE SQUEAKING! the clutch is less stiff too. Didn't need to apply much either.Just don't get any on the pedal itself, your foot might slip off it. No Bueno
My clutch pedal kinda sticks when lifting up slightly. Driving through the rain it's better. At least for me, the fix would be to lubricate any cables (if any?), or if it's hydraulic at least lubricate something.
