Default Headlight question

Ever since I got my Z I have not had a day time running light (first position for turning lights on, yellow side markers on headlight) anyway, never reall thought much of it, till the other night when i saw a Z with them on. I went hope and started to look around, for a burt fuse or somthing.

Well, the headlight itself has an "extra" bulb connector below the HID unit, towards the outside of the car. You can see where there are pins to connect a bulb there but there is nothing.

My question is, should there be somthing there? and why would someone take them out?

am I missing somthing?

Thanks dave, I have looked at that picture in my book. Does your car have a bulb there?
