Default car just shuts off?

i dont know if this has any thing to do with my problem but i recently cleaned my intake out really well and got a bunch of grim and dirt out of it, but now when i get on the highway and start exiting off an on ramp i put it in nutral and coast and somtimes my car will just shut off, i dont know if cleaning the filter has anything to do with it. all i do is start it right back up and it runs fine, i have the ur pully installed on this would that be the cause? somtimes my battery light comes on durning heavy acceleration, maybe a slipping belt? any input would be greatly appriciated

thanks,
andrew

Are you getting a check engine light? Knowing the code would be helpful.

Re check your work..... Maybe you reset the ecu and its relearning..... Keep giving it gas during N or coasting.. Dont let it coast for a week or so....

You might know the answer to this. How lond does it take the ECU to "learn" the motor again after you reset the ECU. Reason I ask is I just put on a Gen2 Stillen CAI yesterday and disconnected the battery while doing the work..

I just told you..... Give it a week or so.. The key is to never let it coast.. You may need to give it some slight throttle/gas during coasting and idling...... It will relearn eventually.... I have done this about 30 times.....

Accel it prob wont make a difference.... Only coasting/idle the car may shut off... Reflash doesnt mean ****.... You should get a Uprev Osiris tune.. After a few more mods..

so instead of driving to tx or ga i could get the tuner kit and then have them etune it via email? or would you recommend going to a shop to have it done? ( please dont think of me as a retard, just exploring all of my options)

Yes, exactly.. You could do that via email.. Do some logging for them and email it back for a better tune if needed... Call Uprev for your best options...

Exactly, all you do is plug in the reflash cable/laptop to your car.. Then send the new tune to it.......

I had a Cipher cable/Osiris but got TT Haltech tuned
