Can't get rid of P0037 code
Car is currently STOCK as I need to smog it. It did have plenum, cat-back and flash. Code came on before I took everything off to take it smogged.
Cleared the code initially but it came back so I replaced the sensor. No dice. Search didn't help find any answer

Quick update. Car was taken into the dealer and given a once over by a master tech. He didn't see anything wrong and cleared the code for me. It drove home fine and than sat until this past Saturday. Code popped up again so it's got to go back in.
Could this be spark plug related at all? (Just curious )

Here's why - leaking spark plug hole seals on the VC's, only the oil soaked plugs looked like that, all on the same bank. Dealer says oh no, the oil could not have caused that. Yes, spark plugs work best when submerged completely in oil, of course.

Good luck with the O2 sensor codes. I didn't see how old or mileage on your car, it is remotely possible the sensor is bad, but I'd also check ground wires throughly including the basic chassis grounds. Many ECU/ECM gremlins come with bad grounding of various circuits.

Any updates on this?
I just started having the same problem this week. A shop said it was my bank 1, sensor 2 o2 sensor and changed it. (sensor after the passenger cat)
The light came back on a little later.
Could it possibly be the MAF sensor?
or a bad CAT?

No clue right now. I'm avoiding taking it in right now for $$ reasons. This weekend I'm going to dive into it and see if I can figure anything out. Otherwise its going to sit until January and go to the dealer then. Can't really drive it because my tags are expired. Let me know if you figure anything out.
I don't know why it would be the MAF, seeming as this is an after cat sensor and is simply there for emissions purposes. It doesn't really effect how the car drives.
