Default Window Problems

I have a 2003 350z. For some reason the driver's side window, when put up using the automatic switch, it reaches the top of the window frame, stops then goes down to half way up. I have tried resetting the car by disconnecting the battery but no luck. Any suggestions? I want to try and avoid replacing the motor.

You may end up having to replace the window motor. 2003 Z's have the most problems with the window motor.

^^^^+1 there is a reset procedure and its on VO's thread.. It probably just needs to be reset (and you cant do that by unplugging battery)

Especially if your not having any issues with it dying or sputtering while the window is going up or down

here it is - check out the attachments
