Default heater hit and miss

ok its getting cold outside so tried to set heating in my z. used the auto setting,turned knob all the way over to 90. nothing until car is reved up.
at idle won't heat. anyone seen this problem? or what is best setting to warm up cabin. thanks for any help

You either have air in the coolant system or it's low on fluid.

if you set it auto, blower will not blow untile it is warmed up. try to put everything manual

check the coolant level. i had the same exact problem and turned out to just be low level

yeah your fluid probly got too low and now you have a air pocket in your cooling system. theres a ton of threads of how to fix it.

It sounds like I have a similar issue (I use the manual setting for the heater) when the car is stopped & running the heater blows cold air....but when I am driving it starts blowing warm/hot air again.
