Stupid ? would 370z seats fit in a 350???
Like the title said. Would the rails be the same you think? I would of tried doing a search but im on the forum a lot and i would of seen it a while back :/. Also a Google search wouldn't of given me anything either and neither would looking up the part number really because it could be a different part number(but be the same thing they just renumbered it for the 370).
Reason why i ask because why redesign new seat rails when you can use the 350z rails and put a different seat on it.. I know this can be a stupid question, because either I or some real nub is going to ask it. I know i may get flamed but with worth it if i get at least one good sold informative answer out of it.
P.s to the mod. i hope i put this in the right section.

Well would it be possible to swap out the rails and seats to put in the 350z. It would seem like a easy thing but what you think doesnt always play out in real life.

... the installation of rails in a sinch in comparison to the amount of work you're going to have to do to take the seats out, rewire, and put them back in.
It is illogical to assume the dimensions are the same given the interior is layed out completely differently. If you're serious about this, buy the rails and call it a day. I'd bet in the cost scheme, it's quite minimal.

A friend of mine got bride seats in his 370 a while ago so he has the factory base seats lying around somewhere. My driver seat has some pretty bad wear and tear on the bolster, wanted to maybe swap them for the 370 seats. Was seein if anybody done this yet, (hopefully) with minor modification.

Yeah so I think i will buy them, he is willing to sell me the seats for less than the price of two new headrests.
The seats barely have had any seat time in them too.
