Question Driver side window problem

i have a 2003 nissan 350Z and my driver side window does not work... i replaced the window motor/window switch... when i try and roll the driver side window down the switch it self makes a buzzing noise and does not stop untill i unplug the window motor please help i have spent $300 and i and getting really sick of this

it's probably the window regulator that needs replacing. i would recommend not trying to use the motor till u get it checked out otherwise you could blow the new one. if you hear the buzzing.. it's probably the motor trying to get the window down but the regulator is preventing it from doing so.

also, regardless of whether u did the reset or not, it should still roll up or down. the reset is just for making sure it does the little drop when opening/closing the door...and so it doesn't open half way down when you do the automatic close.

incase you're not sure what the regulator looks like, it's this piece:


if you wana test it yourself, disconnect the motor from everything except for the power source and use the switch to see if the bolt spins clockwise/counterclockwise. if it does, you need a new regulator!

well before putting the new motor in i plugged it in just to see if the motor would work and nothing happend... the switch would buzz not the motor.... can someone send me a pic of the harness going into switch then the motor harness then the BCM harness.. i want to match all my wires up to make sure none of them have come out and the previous owner didnt just stuff them back in?

and spun the female part on the window regulater to see if it moved freely or was hung up on anything and it works fine

When ever i pull up the automatic window switch for the passenger window it will go up all of the then go down by its self, then i have to bring up the window by pulling up the switch half way, and when i open the door the window wont drop so it hits the paint HELP ME!!!

I know this is an old message I'm looking at, but I have the same exact problem, and have done the same things you did. I was wondering what you finally did to fix the problem.
