so I've been putting up with what I thought was a bad wheel bearing on the drivers rear, replaced it yet the noise was still present. I thought well maybe the bearing i bought was a bad bearing some how and replaced it again. The noise is still there. I had my buddy who is a mechanic even drive the car before replacing the drivers side again and agreed it was the drivers rear. Is it possible to be the drivers side even though when turning left the noise goes away? I was under the assumption that when I would turn left it takes the load off the passenger side causing the noise to disappear? has anyone one had this similar problem and a fix for this? I will be replacing the drivers wheel tomorrow, I thought id make this thread just in case it does not go away and maybe get some feedback on what it possibly might be. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

What kind of noise is it? Squeaking? Grinding? Woman running from a crazed axe murderer?

Since it has to do with something rotating. Maybe your tires are humming or maybe your rotor or caliper needs changing as if it's rubbing/grinding.

When you turn to the left, the right side of the car handles most of the load. Once you are confident which side the sound is coming from and you have already replaced the rear bearing, try replacing the front on the same side. The entire front hub assembly is not that expensive and changing it is pretty straightforward.

Check your tires for cupping, I replaced all my wheel bearings and it was one tire that was bad -___-.

My wheel bearing is going out and I will fix it this weekend. It's possibly it could be the diffrentual.
