like you have never stood someone up......

I think it is the blinker fluid that is flowin in the throttle body that is causing it... if you were cool you would have two of them like me!

actually I meet some old co-workers for drinks last night and alcohol was involved and I forgot

That is pretty funny!

But, gah... quit throwing your awesome dual throttle bodies in my face!

sounds like the timing chain tensioners. Ill be willing to bet on that too.

When you tightened the bolts, did you follow the cross pattern for intalling them? Doesnt sound like typical engine knock

Nope, from a cold start you have to wait a minute or so before you even start to hear anything... once it's warmed up a bit then it starts in low and gradually increases in volume till it gets to what you hear in the video. If I rev it or start driving it the noise seems to disappear (unless it's just being drowned out by engine and exhaust).

No warranty either the service manager did call Nissan to try and make a case for me due to the low miles (31k), but Nissan declined to take responsibility due to the year of the car.

**Rant**

Called the freakin dealership today to get an update on the work on car that was supposed to be started this morning. Was told the person I needed to talk to was at lunch and that he would return my call as soon as he got back in...meanwhile, 3 hours later still no phone call, so....i call back only to find out that the parts they said would be in this morning won't be in till possibly Monday, and that the car probably wont be ready till the end of next week. Meanwhile my car is sitting overnight this whole time in an unlocked parking lot behind the dealership in a not so great part of town. They then proceeded to offer me a loaner POS to drive around till it's done. My other car is a Mini Cooper S so i don't need their crappy Rogue to drive around while they sit there fiddling their thumbs fixing everyone else's cars that come in day to day without appointments so they can pocket as much money as possible while pushing mine back because its already there for apparently as long as they see fit. I know I'm probably over reacting but I can't help it.

Called them back and said that I was going to pick my car up today and that they can call me when all the parts were in AND a bay was ready for it. Guy said to give him a minute and he would call me back. Less than five minutes later i get a call back informing me that they did a parts locator and miraculously they found the parts they needed at other dealerships. They are sending "someone out today" to pick them up so they can start it tomorrow morning... lol why do I get the sneaking suspicion they had the parts all along? Hmmmmm..... $10 says they were afraid I would take it somewhere else that charges 1/2 of dealer prices.

so i finally listened to the video, and my suspicion is right, it is the lack of a second throttle body.........

it actually sounds like a leak to me.......

To be honest I couldn't hear too much in the video. I know in person I could be of more help lol. I saw you have a rev up, do you ever think it was consuming oil?

Not sure about the parts list, they just said they were replacing all the components including the chain.
