Exclamation Need help with trunk hatch

I've been looking around trying to find any reference on how to open my trunk without a hatch. I own a 2004 Nissan 350z touring edition in which recently came back from being worked on. I had carbon fiber put on the car after I hit an animal about two months ago but when it came back to me the hatch box for opening the trunk right above the license plate that I had dropped off when I dropped off the vehicle is nowhere to be found. There is just an empty hole there at the moment with what looks like a wire that the hatch box should be connected too. I've been trying to open up the trunk so I can look to see the bolt pattern for the carbon fiber to determine if it is feasible for me to try and remove the rear bumper cover without knowing myself how to install carbon fiber. I've been looking around for a pulley or button anywhere in the car and haven't successfully found one, not near where the hatch is and not on the bar in the trunk. The fob doesn't work for opening the hatch to my luck, probably because the control box for the hatch isn't where it is supposed to be, and I can't even tell if it is still connected. Does anyone know how to open the hatch without the hatch control box, without using a fob and without prying the car apart with scissors and blood? Also, would it be within my amateur skill range to correctly troubleshoot and place or install a new hatchbox with the carbon fiber instead of normal plastic bumper covers?

Holy run on sentences. I need a translation to understand what it is that you are asking.

Default translation possibly

err. Yea, I've never been the best at vocalizing or writing explanations but that doesn't stop me from trying. Let me try this.

looks like the hatch box I'm referring too.

is like the rear bumper cover I have on the car.

shows where hatch buttons should be. There are no buttons there. There is however a lot of empty space. If the buttons are not there and there may be no box, no working fobs, and no button or pull lever in the trunk to open the hatch, is there another way to open the hatch?

Look under the strut tower bar in your trunk, there is a small clip attached to a cable. This is the other way to open the hatch.

you can buy a key fob off of ebay or amazon that allows you to pop the trunk

but yeah, the shop who re-did your **** should be responsible

Default step 1 down.

okay, so I looked at the strut bar in some light. I found the little square lever that should have been resting up there had slid and was hiding back in the corner of the inside of the strut bar so I had a chance to open the hatch. nothing a few pens tied together couldn't grab(Sometimes I find myself limited on supplies, totally would have been better off with a metal hanger). Next step and question, get ready. Step two is to remove the rear bumper cover and reinstall the control for the hatch. What can I do to avoid damaging my carbon fiber body kit during removal and reinstallation? and does anyone know the process or know where I could refer to (other then the hanes manual because I already checked) for the installation of the hatch control box for the trunk?

I'm thinking the fobs that I programmed that used to work for the hatch no longer work because the hatch control box is missing. Lets hope when I locate the box and hook it back up that they start to work again. The door buttons work just fine on all of them, but I don't think they work on the hatch because there is nothing to receive the pulses until the box is connected again.

Lastly, I've lost my voice from the countless times I've argued with the one auto shop that handed me my car back to me in pieces. I'm handling it but I don't trust them even looking at the car at this point. So, in lieu of my soon pcs I'm trying to get my car running as person friendly as possible. Not a sob story in the slightest, I just need guidance that I wouldn't get if I spent my time arguing with the auto shop.
