car won't start
Hey guys I need help. I did the following and now my z (2003 350z) won't start:
1. Replaced left and right valve covers and gaskets
2. Had fuel injectors cleaned professionally
3. Bought new spark plugs
4. Bought new coil packs
My car was misfiring really bad so I did all of the above and now it's not starting. It turns over when I turn the key in the ignition, but it won't fire up. I took my time reassembling everything and triple checked all my work. I'm very frustrated. Can anyone help me? I tried posting the video so you guys can hear how it sounds, but apparently the file isn't supported. I do smell fuel so I'm assuming the issue isn't the fuel injectors. Thanks guys

Your spark plugs aren't in correctly or are bad. If you had the fuel injectors installed professionally, it's not those. As well, you'd be able to start it once, it'd just die quickly and not again. If that happened, it's probably those.
Most likely though, it's your spark plugs.

The fuel Injectors were "CLEANED" professionally. I installed them myself. I put the clip on each injector and installed them slowly and carefully. The spark plugs are basically brand new so I don't see them as being an issue, but I guess it's not impossible for them to be an issue. I need to disassemble and start over, I just don't where to begin looking for the problem.

It ran ok before this work? Something's backwards or got yanked loose. Don't overthink it. Carefully remove and reinstall parts, double-check any nearby bits that could've been pulled loose. Take no connections for granted.

Doubt it might be the spark plugs if you still hear the crank noise.
Have you checked your battery? Your starter or your ignition system? Or probably your alternator.
Try going to the nearest AutoZone and they will check that out for you for free.

King,
Sorry fr your probs!
Take an hour and make sure the plugs are seated, all the coils are snug on plugs, and the coils are all snapped tight to the correct harness.

Update:
Changed out the cam sensors, and the crank sensor. Still not firing up. So far, spark plugs are brand new, coils are brand new. Injectors are extremely clean. All hoses and plugs checked. I thought maybe it was the fuel pump but fuel is getting to the fuel pressure regulator. I tried starting it and then disconnected the fuel pressure regulator and it spewed out pretty strong. Only thing that concerns me at this point is that my spark plugs are not black on the top like they should be I think from the fuel. They still look brand new like no fuel is getting to them. Help please... I'm stumped and I don't want to take it to a shop and get ripped off. Could my fuel pump not be delivering the fuel at the appropriate pressure?

I'm sure there's a tester that you can put in between the plug and coil and see if your getting spark plus check your fuses just might have blown one. could be your key too just some things that would make it not fire I'm not an expert so I'm just brain storming

Are you sure its not the battery or the starter? Does it even try to turn over or is it just turning and not firing? If its not firing its got to be the spark plugs or coils, if not the injectors. Just got through the check your car needs three things spark, fuel, and air, check all the components.
