Attempting to start using Redline power steering fluid
Hey everyone, I've got a quick question. I have been researching power steering fluids and have seen that most Z DIY people have been happy with redline products, especially on the track. I noticed that my power steering fluid is pretty dark, and with 90k miles on the car (bought it with 88k miles) I was going to use the turkey baster with the reservoir method and fit in a full quart of new fluid, but I was wondering if it was safe to mix the fluids, or if I should completely drain and maybe even flush the system. Thanks in advance! And I apologize if this has been covered before, but I haven't found it in my search..

Use your suction pump or baster to remove as much old fluid as you can, fill with new fluid, start car and turn your wheels rack to rack a few times. The fluid will be dirtier than it was. Repeat this process until you are satisfied with how the fluid in the res looks.
You could disconnect the return line a flush it that way, but not sure if its worth the trouble for you.
