Low Clutch Disengagement
I just purchased an 03 Z with 93k miles. It has a new Z1Performance clutch and flywheel installed less than a year ago. I'm not sure why the previous owner decided that combo over the JWT. Anyways, the clutch disengagement is very low, and when I first go to start the car up, it's nearly impossible to put it in first or reverse. Once it gets warmed up, shifting becomes much easier. Now my question is, what should I try first? I believe the issue is air in the line, however I wanted to check on here to see if anyone had a better suggestion on where to start. Also, should I not drive the car at all until this is fixed, will it damage the tranny or clutch? Thanks.

Also, below is a link to the clutch and flywheel kit that was installed. If anyone could give me any input on how well this combo performs. This is my first Z and actually my first Jap coupe, so I'm a little new.

I have tried bleeding this thing for about 10 hours in the past two days and after throwing tools about 20 times, I'm throwing in the towel. I tried gravity bleeding, two person clutch press bleeding, reverse bleeding with oil can, reverse bleeding with gun. I've spent $200 trying to get it bled. What a nightmare. Getting it towed to a shop on Monday.
