Default Help! car wont stay on

hello, my car previously threw the code p0444 so i changed the vacuum sensor(solenoid). Then it kept stalling as before and throwing the p0441 code. Like when using it on the streets and going into neutral it cant keep the idle it just keeps going down until it stalls, after the stall i try to turn it on and it dies quickly, after like 3 tries it works again for like a couple of hours. The car was missing a vacuum line since i got it, but started giving problems a couple of weeks ago, after owning it for some months(like 3), so i made a line for the vacuum, and still gives problems. Could someone with experience with this give advice, or someone with and idea help me, thank you!

Impossible to give sensible advice over the internet. Have you taken it to a Nissan trained tech for an adequate diagnosis and repair?

What year is your car?
How many miles,
Last air filter change,
What exactly has changed since it ran ok, everything, removed or installed?

Dude, stick with one thread. No need to keep starting new ones to discuss the same problem.

I'm in total agreement with dkmura. You need to have this looked at by someone who knows what they're doing. Why did you run the car w/o a vacuum line for so long? Did you know about it or only discover it after your car threw a code? Running w/o a vacuum line can affect a lot of things, i.e., emissions, idle, etc.

it is a 2004 with 75,000 miles,i changed the air filter one week before it gave problems(had a pod filter, and changed the pod filter brand to an injen). I did not knew about the car running without vacuum until it threw a code and I did a search on the system. other than the air filter change no other things have been done to it. The problem with taking the car to a nissan mechanic(dealer) is that they charge everything and then they want to change parts without giving warranty that it will fix the problem. I dont trust those methods. So i leave them as last option.

It is possible something bad was sucked into a vacuum source.
Meanwhile, disconnect your battery ground and leave the headlights on till they die. Reconnect after that. You might resurrect it for a time.
At this point I agree w dkmura. gl
