here are some pics i took the other night when i was bored. car isn't exactly clean, and it was extremely humid so the car was kinda wet, but i still kind of like them. some could use some cropping, i know, but i'm too lazy for that .
and here are a couple of my roommates altima from some other night i had my camera with me.
thanks for the compliments guys. means a lot being pretty newbish with a dslr.
the blown out lights are a result of the exposures being really long (15+ seconds) and the lights from some building being on in the background. i thought it ended up looking pretty cool.
oh and the tire marks aren't mine. i waited till after taking the shots to put down some rubber.
i have the stock HID bulbs. i believe they are 4200K or 4300K (optimal for light output, so why change them). they might seem a little more blue than usual because I also have the RASE creation led bulbs, made and sold by forum member ares.
here is a picture with just those lights on.
*also, the bulbs aren't really that bright. the long exposure just makes them seem a lot brighter since they are much brighter than the rest of the picture.
