Saw this crash posted on bimmerforums yesterday. Apparently the driver of the e36 M3 doing about 155mph tapped a mini cooper going considerably slower during a recent track day. The M3 spun and rolled but both drivers were able to walk away from the accident w/ only minor bruises. Talk about being lucking.

I was there in 2007 but only did a few laps (at a very SLOW pace, just to get a feel of the place), but I recognise the spot... it looks as if it's at the end of the main straight, where the entrance/exit is.... which is a bit weird really. As you can see from the video if someone stays in for a few laps, obviously the speed at the end of that straight is MASSIVE (I'm sure I was about 140mph there and as I said I was in no way pushing it at all!!), but the collision must have happened with someone going "in" from the entrance, somehow... the etiquette there is to stay on the right hand side and indicate when you are going slowly so it was either en error from the newly "arrived" car getting into the "racing line" of the BMW, or otherwise I wouldn't see how that could happen!
