Word. Don't understand the infatuation with making something long and functional into something short and, well, inconsequential.
Kinda feel the same way about the rear wiper delete... dunno...I use my rear wiper, particularly up in the wet Santa Cruz mountains.

Because some people think they're eye-sores and never use either of them. I used my rear wiper once in 6-7 years that I had it on my car, and I haven't listened to terrestrial radio since the early 90's.
