This will be an awesome DD, for sure. If you are planning on tearing the engine down, at all, Id look in to the revised oil squirters. This will help you keep away from the dreaded crank walk with the 7 bolt. As it was said before, 400+ HP on a stock 6 bolt is VERY achievable.

Ive had two DSMs and as much as I love my Z, I will probably rock another 1Gb at some point just because of how much you can get out of them for a really cheap price. I upgraded the 14b on my first DSM to a big 16g before I went with the Bullseye V-Trim. The spool time on the 16g is pretty much the same as a 14b (will be a little slower than your T-25 but not a lot, maybe 200-300 RPM difference to full spool) but the way it pulls to redline will be a HUGE improvement over the T-25, which falls on its face after 6k RPM.

Good call on the ETS FMIC, too... their stuff is kinda pricey, but its awesome quality and will make the install a LOT less of a headache.

Definitely watch out for wheel hop... its going to be a monster with the setup youre about to run!

I
Where in the world do they have revised ones, weld them bad boys up thats what SBR does on there 7 bolt short blocks. I personally believe that the whole crank walk issue was due to heavy pressure plates and squiters have weak springs and opening at low pressure.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking.. Haha. My friend and I were talking the other day about how they should revise those like they did with the lifters.

yea i hate to say it but z parts are too expensive for little gains, while dsm are the the opposite. That why i put my z on hold for now.

Yea man its bad I don't even own my next dsm yet and I spend more time on there forums than up here. The Z is sexxie and fun i love it but something about the dsms just intrigue me. They do make good power for the price, its just that they are very picky motors for some reason it seems.
