Default tm's progress thread

Hello all, figured i'd make a thread about my build since I just got another z and I have a fresh start.

My first z was a 2004 pikes peak white touring that I had since 2009, but last week I traded her in for a manual 2007 enthusiast silver alloy, mainly because my old one was auto and I got really bored of it.

Here was my old z at its final point, on le37's and eibach sportline springs

The z I just bought came with nismo lmgt4 wheels, s-tune exhaust, and the nismo v1 wing I believe it is?

Not really a fan of the wing as most people would agree so I took it off as soon as I got the car home, but since there was 6 giant holes and glue all over the hatch I decided to throw it back on until I have extra money to get it filled and resprayed.

As you can see from the pictures the nismo exhaust is off and was replaced with a tomei expreme single that I bought a few days ago from a member on here.. One of the best sounding exhausts in my opinion, its also looks like a work of art

As far as future plans i'm not sure what I want to do, I still have my volks and springs from my old car, as well as a nismo v2 bumper. I'll probably put all that on when the weather gets nicer. I'll keep this thread updated with everything that I do with the car.. also keep your eyes peeled in you want a set of lmgt4's because they're most likely going to be for sale soon

Bmurray's silver alloy is one of my favorite z's on the forums so that's definitely an inspiration for my future plans, hope he doesn't mind me posting a picture

I'm in Staten Island.. I like them a lot as well but I don't really need 2 sets of good wheels, then again I could just use them as a winter set, hmm tough decisions

Good luck with your build from a fellow Silver Alloy HR owner.

x2 congrats on the Tomei Expreme Ti, will you be doing a bumper tuck?

I think I'm going to .. the only thing I dislike about this exhaust is that I wanted the top secret style diffuser since forever and with the single exit it would probably look silly

Here's an update post for the past few weeks..

Picked up a set of brand new bc coils from a member on here, it was a good price so I had to do it. I know a lot of people aren't a fan of these but i'm going to see how I like them.

Also got spc rear camber arms/toe bolts from thmotorsports during their black friday sale for really cheap.

Nismo V2 front bumper and Volks that I've had for a while waiting for nice weather to be put on.

Also did some minor things, white led license plate lights and interior lights, and made my own katana handle shift ****

Next thing I'm going to do is probably chargespeed bottom line sideskirts and a replica ts rear diffuser

What's up Tyler? Congrats on picking up the manual version. That front bumper looks familiar . Are you going to get it resprayed or keeping as is?

thanks will! it took awhile but i finally did it, sucks this bumper has been sitting for that long. My minds pretty set on the full vinyl wrap I just don't know if i'm going to be able to do the job myself, if I end up failing then I'm going to have to get the bumper resprayed and color matched

Also we should get some nj/ny meets going once the nice weather comes

They've been restored to perfection, and I should have them on the car in the next few weeks.
