fataLblitz's 2005 350z Progress
Hey guys, figure I go ahead and post one of these threads to share my Z's progress throughout the years. Mainly wheel progress, but a few other things here and there
Got it back in 2011, with Eibach springs and a cheap HKS replica exhaust.
One of my first mods, happened to be an authentic USDM nismo v1 lip. It was primered black, so I just plastidipped it black temporarily until I could get it painted. Shown here while test fitting my brother's LE37s
Next, I decided to go with the 06+ headlights.
I did not hesitate to get some legit wheels, so I ordered a set of Work VSXX in Extreme Gold after saving for some time. Offsets were 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 +7 all around. Luckily, I did not have to wait the 6 month lead time, since someone already placed the order and backed out.
Next thing on my list was a set of coilovers. Originally, I had a set of Ksport Kontrol Pros, but sold that and went with Stance GR+ coilovers instead. Person that intially helped with the coilover install thought it would be funny to slam my Z and have me drive around for the day with it at this height. No bueno.
My next set of wheels that I picked up were a set of Work XSA-02Cs, in 19x9.5 +2 and 19x11 +0. I unfortunately, only had these on my Z for about 2 months before deciding to switch it up. This was where my slight obsession for wheels started
Next on my mod list, I picked up a Motordyne TDX2 Shockwave exhaust, Motordyne 5/16 Plenum Spacer along with some Crawford HFCs. I also picked up some bausauto amuse side and rear add ons.
After selling my gold VSXX, I ended up getting a set custom built to have step lips because I missed having the mesh design.
I found a set of gold LE37Ts for sale, and figured that there are only a few sets of wheels that throughout the course of my Z's lifetime, I have always wanted.
During this time, I also picked up an 06 front bumper with an authentic usdm NISMO lip, painted gloss black.
Next, I went ahead and purchased a set of OEM 350z brembos and rotors.
I decided to change things up, and went with a nismo v3 bumper
Currently, the bumper is still unpainted as for I am currently undecided as to whether or not I want to keep it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as to whether you guys prefer the v1 lip, or v3 bumper with the current amuse side/rear add ons.
Not as comprehensive as other build/progress threads, as for I was not intending on keeping progress pics throughout the stages. Hope you guys enjoy!

Yeah, these are probably my favorite wheels. I'm looking to sell off some of my wheels
Thanks Brandon. Yeah, the gold contrasts against the silverstone and makes it stand out. If I end up keeping my VSXX, i'll have them powdercoated gold or something.
Thanks man!
Thanks for the kind words. Yours are extreme gold faces as well, right? The guy I sold my first set of gold vsxx actually had a daytona blue Z as well, so it definitely pops against that color. I'll try and dig up some more side shots for you, of when I had the gold wheels on.

Thanks man, I love the way the Volks look on your car currently.
