Thanks Scott I will definitely take your advice into consideration

I usually walk to work and have too much time on my hands to justify having someone else doing it. LOL

Definitely looks good though. I was just curious what kind of wrap was used/where you got it since I've heard different brands will be easier/harder to work with.

^^^ Lol, I never stated you should have him wrap yours; just complimented the job he did on mine.

John sourced the vinyl for me and knows much more about the durability/workability of different brands because he has personally used them, which is why I mentioned you should PM him

Lowered the rear height over at Matt's yesterday, Z is sittin' pretty

(iPhone 6 takes some damn good night photos)

Thought I was scraping on the v-band clamp of my Motordyne exhaust or the resonator (thought they were the lowest hanging points)... But at the most extreme angles I have to drive I barely scrape on the mating point of the Y-pipe to mid-pipe, will grind it down without affecting the gasket seal soon

^^^ Thanks Blue, yours is one of my favorites on this forum

Went back to Temple City Auto and John rolled/flared my front fenders cleanly to properly fit my wide 285's (they were rubbing before)

Thanks for the compliment! I like the front fender roll that you have done. I may go to 285's on fronts (from 265) in this next year, so may need a roll also so I can be 285 square. * A question, I have 9.5"x18 +15 offsets on front, you think I'd rub with 285s in front (probably need 2- 10.5s also)? I've had my eye on Toyo R888's about 3 yrs. now and I think that wide setup all 4 would look nice, what do ya think?

^^^ I honestly do not know if you'd rub with 285/35 with 18x9.5 +15 (best guess would be 'no'), the reason why I would advise against it is that 285 width would look wider on a 9.5" wheel than most would want (285 fits perfectly on 10.5" as you know) so I would suggest you get another pair of 10.5's if you're going square. As I was warned by everyone I asked about 285/35 on 18x10.5 +15 up front, you will have to run ~-3.0 camber to make them fit without rubbing (still may need a roll/slight flare). Aggressive meat is where it's at though , square setups also open up rotating options. Toyo R888's are a great choice as well, I was looking into R888's and Nitto NT05's but ended up getting a great deal on these RS3's.

I originally ran my 285 RS3s on the 9.5 +15 square. "It worked" and looked fine, but I know performance would have been better on the 10.5s, I just didn't have any at the time and I grabbed the 285s for a lower price than the 265s that probably should have gone on the 9.5s. Fenders weren't rolled, but I did have over 3 degrees of front camber. The 285 RS3s are BIG.

PS - if you are looking at the R888, they will be easier to fit since they're only a 30-series profile.

Nice! And oh-damn, I forgot to mention to you that I had a Setrab oil cooler in my lightly-used parts bin!

Another trip out to my friends' shop, made a small bracket to mount my Hella Supertones and got a tab welded to my tube bumper for my tow strap:
