Default finally boosted!

Just wanted to share my excitement with u guys! Finally after figuring out all of the headaches the aps tt transformation is complete wooo For now it is only on 7 lbs since its on stock internals. It made 332 hp and about 280 tq on a dynodynamics. Hopefully it will last long enough for me to have a vq built on the side. But for now its awsome! Def better than that all motor life. I am now one of those annoying ppl that goes pshh pshh everywhere haha

heres my setup:

aps twinturbo kit
polished aps tall boy plenum
gt uprev maf
uprev tuned by kaizen
aam fuel return system
rc 650 cc injectors
340 aeromotive fuel pump
blitz SBC-ID boost controller
forge motorsports actuators
jegs catch can
koyo radiator and cap
mishimoto fan shroud (1 14in spal fan and 1 12in mishi fan)
motordyne tdx exhaust
aps 3.5in downpipes
6 puck action clutch and flywheel
full wire tuck

im sure theres alot more that im just forgetting about
hope you guys enjoy!

330WHP? How much boost you pushing? Numbers seem low.

ya i thought so to but like i said its only 7 lbs and have to remember its not dynojet numbers. it was done on a dynodynamics which is like a mustang dyno so the numbers are going to be about 10- 12 percent lower hence why they call it the "heartbreaker dyno". i beleive it had a boost leak too when it got tuned there was a clamp just hanging off a coupler off the intercooler piping and the cars boost would start to fall off 2-3 lbs. after tightening that it now holds the 7-8 lbs all the way through. Im looking to get it retuned anyway since i added the catch can and all the cooling mods after it got tuned maybe that boost leak made all the difference who noes.

Bay looks great! Kind of shocked by the numbers too but I guess it's better than stock. That's about a 100whp difference. Up the boost to 8 and dynojet numbers could be in the 370s-380s. What maps are you running? If I ever go turbo I'd do an 8psi for the strip or when I really want to get on it, a 5psi map for around town and a valet as well.

unfortunatly i dont have cruise control option on my car so i can only have one map and exactly at the end of the day its still 100 hp difference so who am i to complain its still tons of fun . Until i get it back on the dyno i wont no how big of a differnce the boost leak made but car instantly felt better!

so i got it on the dynojet yesturday and here are the results: 365hp 302 tq not bad at all again on 7 lbs

heres what it made on this same dyno when it was all motor with boltons just to compare the gains :254hp and 240 tq

thats a 111 hp gain and 62 gain in tq so if you do the math its about a 16 hp gain for every lb of boost which isnt bad at all

im pretty happy with my numbers

No the y pipe is 2 1/2 in and the rest back is 3in. i was going to get a custom 3in y pipe made but my tuner said it wouldnt of made that much of a difference at this power level and it isnt raspy or anything it still sounds awsome so i just saved the money and put it toward the bigger radiator and fans since that was needed
